Prior to our move to the US and before the creation of Msosi, we always liked to believe that Msosi existed conceptually. We have always been driven by a passion for business and have tried different entrepreneurial ventures. Everything we did with food seemed to flourish, so we like to think that it was our true calling. We began by selling food at Christian crusades in Nairobi. Later, we expanded by adding a small shop that sold vegetables and fruits in Dandora. Many of you who have lived in Kenya may know that Dandora is not an affluent area, so our business efforts were initially to make ends meet. But beyond that, we loved how much we were able to provide for our community.
From The Bustling Streets of Nairobi to the Snowcapped Mountains of Colorado…
In 2007 we packed our bags and left our beloved homeland of Kenya in search of better opportunities. With three kids in hand, we landed in America ready to start a new adventure.
Food Concept
The Truck Story
Msosi Kenyan Cuisine was born out of our desire to share Kenyan food and culture. We love to cook and we love sharing our culture so what better way to combine the two than by starting a food truck.
